Overview:
Located south of Tulum, Cenote Angelita is a deep, cylindrical sinkhole nestled in the heart of the Mayan jungle. It is world-renowned for featuring an extraordinary natural phenomenon: a floating "underwater river" created by a thick layer of hydrogen sulfide at a depth of around 30 meters (100 feet).
At the center of this cenote, the debris cone creates a submerged island filled with fallen tree trunks and branches emerging from the misty layer, creating a surreal landscape that feels like stepping into a fantasy world or a sci-fi movie.

- Diving Level: Advanced (Advanced Open Water certification required due to depth and buoyancy control demands).
- Maximum Depth: 60 meters / 200 feet (Recreational dive limit up to 30 meters / 100 feet).
- Visibility: Crystal-clear in the upper fresh layer; very low visibility inside the dense cloud layer (fog effect).
