Located in the Puerto Aventuras area (just steps away from Cenote Chac Mool), Cenote Kukulkan is world-famous for displaying one of the most mesmerizing light shows in the Riviera Maya. On sunny mornings, sunlight pierces through the cavern entrance, creating an immense, dynamic 3D "curtain of light" that dances across the limestone walls. As you dive deeper into the cavern, you will pass through a sharp and distinct halocline—the shimmering layer where fresh and saltwater meet—producing fascinating optical illusions. It is a delightfully bright, spacious, and scenic dive suitable for all certified divers.
