Located along the famous Ruta de los Cenotes near Puerto Morelos, Cenote Maravilla is a stunning bell-shaped sinkhole. Internationally known for its breathtaking beam of sunlight that cuts vertically into the cavern depths during midday, it offers a truly ethereal experience. At around 30 meters (100 feet), a thick, misty hydrogen sulfide cloud rests above the bottom. It is an unmissable dive for advanced divers and underwater photographers looking for surreal light rays and dramatic scenery.
